Kanghee Kim

Kim is a Korean-American artist and DACA recipient living in NY. Because she immigrated here as a child and as an undocumented person, she has citizenship dependent on her not leaving the country. This conundrum is a large part of her work in that it’s all about dreaming past boundaries. She builds photographs to create new spaces and fictional experiences that allow for a sense of liberation and infinite possibility.
