Alia Ali

Ali is a Yemeni-Bosnian-US multimedia artist. Many of her early memories were of traveling with her mother to many different places, visiting local markets and spending time with the local merchants who shared their processes and histories. So enamored was she of these experiences that textiles became a central concept in her works.
